I got my passport. My heart skipped a beat when I saw the envelope in the mail box. It came just in time. I'm off to Paris on Wednesday, finally getting the amazing opportunity to go somewhere that requires a passport. It feels indulgent and I know I'm so lucky.
I'm not going to lie. I have a few butterflies in my stomach thinking about leaving my husband and kids and going so far away, but, mostly I'm just excited. I'm going to make the most of this trip, knowing it's a once in a life time. I just pray and that everything goes okay at home while I'm gone. So....
Au revior, et salut!

You are so lucky! That will be awesome. I'm glad you've had new posts today. We're visiting Jon's grandparents in Monticello this weekend, and I've had a lot of spare time...
Bon Voyage! You'll love love love it, I'm sure. Eat some stinky fromage for me. And of course blog all about it.
I'm relieved that your passport came. I was going to ask you about it. Have fun, but don't forget to come home!
I am so jealous.
Please post lots of pictures when you get back!
Et bon voyage!
Yeah, why were you nervous, did you think you weren't an American citizen? Have fun!!
I hope you have so much fun! I can totally relate to the passport feeling...just seeing mine made me feel twice as adventurous! It opened up a whole new realm of possibilities for places to go and things to see. Be safe!
What! How fun is that!!! For those of us who a)aren't in your family, b)don't talk to you every day, and c)are so jealous they want to hide in your suitcase, please tell why you are going! So many questions, so little time to comment...
have a fabulous time Jill. I can't wait to hear all about it...

Yeah! Now you can officially leave. Indulge yourself in every single bit of it and don't worry at all about things at home. Well I guess wishing MIke was with you as you visit all those romantic sites would be appropriate. Have so much fun. Let this trip be only the beginning of your adventures.
That is so exciting!!! Who are you going with? What are you going to do there? I'm quite envious! I've thought about getting a passport just so I would know that I could go somewhere if I wanted to.
So happy for you and I can't wait to see all the pictures!!
Can you see me from there? Can you see my tongue? Sticking out at you?
Who are you going with??? That sounds like a dream come true. Enjoy every minute and bring me back some pastries.
Enjoy your trip Jill! Try and get as many passport stamps as they will let you have. =)
For real? My passport only took me to Mexico...and I don't even think that counts!!
Have such a great time!!!
Jill - I'll be hiding in your suitcase, so be sure to slip me some granola bars or something so I don't get too hungry.
Have a fantastic time! Don't worry about the kids - they'll be great.
How did I miss this? What are the details? With who, for how long, and can I come?
Wow Jill! Have a great time!! I guess I haven't talked to you for a while. I hope to hear all about your adventure when you get back!
No offense, Jill, but you owe us some pictures.
