Remember many months ago when I was a working mom? I worked for BYUtv as the blogger for a show called Fresh Take. Maybe some of you watch the show? Probably not. Anywho…last week an episode of Fresh Take that I was in aired on BYUtv. I thought I’d post it here if anyone wanted to see it. Click here to watch.
After watching our Food Nanny episode over and over (it seems like that thing repeated on air for almost a decade) and the few episodes of Fresh Take I was on that we filmed back in December and I’ve finally seen; I’ve come to the conclusions that I was simply NOT born to be a television star.
The shorts are fun to watch in this episode though. Given my history I really like the last one about OCD.
You may recognize the guy sitting next to me at the table as the star of the Mormon movie ‘Midway to Heaven.’ Haven’t seen it.
A couple photos from the night we filmed…not sure why, but I look like I’m about to bite somebody’s head off. I must have been nervous.
Also, here’s a post I wrote for the Fresh Take blog about this episode. My friend Casey is doing a great job with the Fresh Take blog. Go Casey!
We watched this film that night too, but it didn’t make the final cut (probably the drawing of ‘the finger’ and a guy lighting a cigarette, BYUtv has very strict standards). It’s quick and fun to watch. Wish is was in there.

I watched you in living person! You looked very knowledgable. Way to focus on the speaking person.
I think you're absolutely wrong about not being a tv persona. You definitely rocked it.
you're like a star now, jill. i mean, you were before too. can't wait to see you!
I love your hair in these photos. I can't wait to watch this and the Words video. I LOVE anything presented by Radiolab. It's one of my favorite podcasts.
Jill, this is funny because I've tried to watch your video like a hundred times, but you're right, it's REALLY hard for a mom to sit down and watch something. The parts I did see, though, you were astonishing.
