Happy Birthday Emilie!

This is my cousin Emilie, the one on the right. It's her birthday today and I want to celebrate.

I usually write up a little ditty about the birthday person, but I not sure my inept writing skills would do Emilie justice. She's not easy to describe. Anyone who knows her would back me up on that, but here are a few words that come to mind as I consider Emilie......

Hilarious
Beautiful
Eccentric
Adventurous
Unconventional
Original
Authentic
Unique
Intelligent
Gracious
Interesting
Self Confident
Open
Kind

I could go on, but if you really want to learn a little more about Emilie you can read her fabulous blog. I read, and live a more adventurous life through her. Her pictures are breathtaking, and her writing, engaging and real. I love pulling up her blog and getting lost in her world because it's so very different from mine. It's so uniquely Emilie. I love that she shares her adventures and her way of seeing and noticing the world.

I miss Emilie all the time. Going to visit her in Paris was so amazing. Not only because Paris was...well, Paris.... but mostly because I was with Emilie. I love her. She makes me happy, teaches me, inspires me, makes my life better. Thanks for being so good to me Em. Happy Birthday!

I have to say that although I don't really know Emilie per say, I've fallen in love with her a little bit through her blog. Love it. Happy Birthday Emilie!

Yep, fabulous blog she's got there. The photos are almost too surreal for this world. Joyeux Anniversaire, Emilie!

Happy birthday to my favorite kind-of Parisian. I also love your blog. Did you know you had so many cyber stalkers?

Happy birthday Emilie. You're the only real person I've ever known who lives in Paris! That makes you special.

What a nice thing, and relationship to have. And Paris just seems to make a person cool, regardless...right? I jumped over to her blog and was very entertained.

Plus...she must be cool...if you like her that much, Jill.

I hope she has a happy birthday.
