As of today, I have been married to Michael Shawn Dickey for 17 years. That’s a relatively long time and we are starting to show signs of aging in more ways than one. I finally found some tiny gray hairs on Michael’s head the other day. Finding them made me feel a whole lot better about the hundreds of gray hairs on mine. It made me feel like we are once again in the same boat, where we belong.
It’s true that people don’t stay the same. Mike and I have both changed over the years (mostly for the better, I hope), but one things remains the same…we still love each other, we are still happy to be together as husband and wife.
I hope that never changes.
