On the Dickey side of the family the three oldest grand children are beautiful, lovely girls. There’s a brunette (Sarah), a blond (Megan) and a red head (Mary Kate); in that order.
A girl party – dresses made by Aunt Laura
Even though the brunette and the blond lived on the other side of the country for more than 10 years…the three managed to stay close, thanks to occasional family events, mail, and the phone.
But, it wasn’t the ideal situation…being so far away from each other.
Gladly…one year ago…the brunette and the blond moved back home and the three were reunited.
A permanent trio evolved.
These days the brunette, the blond, and the red head are a bit older (teenagers now). They love to shop, dress up in the latest fashions, paint their nails, and talk about boys. They love to be together, and I know just how they feel. There’s nothing like being with family. There something different and special about it.
I’m thrilled that Megan and Sarah moved back home. When I think back to my growing up years, I have many, many a happy memory with cousins. My cousins were my best friends.
That seems to be the case here.
So glad.

Oh, I love this post! And those three girls! I'm so glad we're back so they can be together, too!
Those are some seriously beautiful girls!
Love the photos, lovely post! They grow up all too fast...
I love these pictures, love their hair, and especially love the girls!
A few days ago I was reminiscing about spending time with the girls while I was out there, and Tim said, "I don't want to sound creepy, but all three of those girls are very attractive. I feel very sorry for their fathers during the next few years when they start dating."
Hee hee - good luck with that! I love this post, of course.
Hey, three of my favorite gals in the whole world! They look gorgeous.
