I’m finally finished with all eleven of them, and it was a pure pleasure. The bad part is that now I’m going to have to wait a long time to return to the world of Precious Ramotswe and the #1 Ladies Detective Agency of Botswana. Who knows when the next installment will be available? Please Mr. Alexander McCall Smith, don’t make us wait to long!
If any of you out there are looking for some easy, light reading that’s uplifting and life affirming, look no further. These are what you need. I would recommend them to anyone.

I love this series, too! I don't think I read all 11 (I think he came out with one or a few since I last read them). I'm excited to catch up.

Our late night conversation inspired several areas in my life. I am reading more now. Only my exciting read for the week is "The Writing Road to Reading" (for Joshua & Jacob)by Ramona Spalding which I find very interesting. Someday I would love to read this series.
oh,I just picked up my first in the series and am half way into it. I love it, it's a great book to read by itself or when you want to take a break from reading the more serious books.
Rosie and I love this series. It is hard to beat McCall Smith's combination of humor, adventure, values and great storytelling. The last number of years he has come out with a new book in the series every March. Hopefully that will be the case in 2011.
I would also recommend listening to these books on CD as the reader is exceptional.
